Capdepera Golf The Capdepera Golf Course is located in the eastern part of Mallorca, and has been in operation since 1991. This course is a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. It has many holes in very picturesque surroundings. There are six lovely lakes on the course. The greens are wide, and the fairways vary from broad to narrow. Four of the Capdepera holes have recently been modified. Hole number 4 has been made a short par 3 with a lake behind the green. At hole number 8 there is a new picturesque white tee that transforms the hole into a dogleg par 5 to the left. Hole number 10 is also now a dogleg to the left, with hazards like the lake, water tower, and an old stone wall to watch out for. Canyamel Golf The Canyamel Golf Club has a double driving range that can accommodate up to 40 people. There are two putting greens, one pitching green, and a practice bunker. Senior golfers are permitted to use golf carts on the fairway. Canyamel is beautifully covered with fig trees, palm trees, olive and carob trees, and fragrant evergreens. Pula Golf The Pula Golf Course has been regularly graced by such stars as Claudia Schiffer. Photographs taken at celebrity tournaments are prominently displayed in the clubhouse. Green fees, therefore, are somewhat expensive compared to those of other golf clubs. This course has a rolling terrain that is tightened by several ponds. There are some great views of the Mediterranean Sea. The S’Era de Pula restaurant is one of the most famous on the island. Son Servera Golf The Son Servera Golf Club was one of the first golf courses on Mallorca, and it is still one of the best known and popular on the island. Son Servera is located on the eastern side of the island in a beautiful seaside setting. The greens stretch down the mountainside to a valley. The entire course is surrounded by tropical pines. The Son Servera club house has a friendly bar and a famous gourmet restaurant. This golf course has a large putting green and a good practice area. The atmosphere here is very laid back. Son Gual The Son Gual Golf Course has been in operation since October 15th, 2007. It was designed by Thomas Himmel. This course is located just off the Manacor motorway, just 8 kilometers from the city center of Palma. It is harmoniously set in gently rising land within the Valley of 1000 Windmills. There are some breathtaking views of the Bay of Palma and the Tramuntana Mountains. Some of the olive trees along the fairway are hundreds of years old.
