Casa Janol Vela is a traditional Catalan village-house, situated in the small village Tavernoles, 9 km. from the regional capital Vic. The house is well-kept and comes with large beautiful terrace with stunning landscape views. The guests of this amazinh house have free access to the public infinity swimming pool of the prerty village. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave and dishwasher, the living room has a dining table and sofa corner with TV and music equipment. On the upper floor, the house has three double rooms and two bathrooms.
From the house, there is a walking path directly to the outdoor public swimming pool that is open in the summer months. In the village there are two restaurants and two more in the next village 4 km. away of a bit higher standard. In the village there is also a playground for children and a football field.
If you are interested in walking, there as two different of the official routes (one GR and one PR) passing by the village. In nearby Vic, that in itself is worth a visit, not at least on market days, there is an excellent tourist office. Furthermore trains run every hour to Barcelona in case you want to explore the metropolis, but do not wish to bring the car.
