Back in December 2010 we posted about up and coming updates to the DDG luxury Retreat for 2011. We pleased to say that these changes and additions have now been completed ready for Spring and Summer bookings.

We appreciate that planning your holiday can sometimes be stressful, as there are so many aspects that need to be taken care of, as well as trying to plan your budget.

Self Catering and Hotel Board Basis

At the DDG Retreat we aim to make our guests planning and booking process as flexible as possible. From April 2011 our guests will be able to choose between two different board basis at The Retreat.

For those who wish to fend for themselves and prefer self catering , we will be continuing with this option. But for those who wish to avoid the daily ‘housework’ and prefer to leave that to ourselves, the hotel type basis will become available. This will include daily breakfast, daily cleaning and management of your private territory, along with a daily fruit basket, ice and mineral water.

New Restaurant

From April 2011 onwards, The Retreat will be opening a restaurant which will be available to all of our guests, offering breakfast and romantic dining, surrounded by candles and fountains.

Pillow Service

At The Retreat the comfort of our guests is paramount, that is why we also offer the ‘Pillow Service‘ where guests can choose their desired pillow type, according to their body needs, along with Egyptian cotton bed linen for quality sleep and ultimate relaxation.

We will be intensifying our privacy concept, ensuring all guests have a completely relaxing holiday experience. Children under 15 years of age will not be permitted to stay at The Retreat.

Flag System

We will also be introducing the ‘Flag System’ to ensure your maximum privacy and comfort. If you prefer not to be disturbed by a member of our staff, you will be able to raise a red flag to let us know not to disturb you. If the flag is not raised then this will let us know that a member of our staff can come in, prior to contacting you first, to carry out any necessary duties at your casa and its territory. Please note that if the flag should stay raised, our staff will not be able to perform any services for you.

New Pool For Casa Pino

We also continue to improve and develop the facilities featured with each of our private casas. From April 2011, Casa Pino will have its own private plunge pool.

So as you can probably tell, we are very excited about 2011 here at the DDG retreat and are looking forward to welcoming both existing and new guests in the new year.
